Partners

The “Fachhochschule des Mittelstandes”, FMH, (University of Applied Sciences for SME’s) is the applicant and main coordinator of the project. Additional members of the consortium include the “Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk” (Education & Craft Foundation), the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Kärnten, as well as the partner country’s institutions of the Economic Department, Karaganda, and the Kazakh Economic University, Almaty.

Project objective

Firstly, the Kazakh universities are assisted in the description of a skills interface between the economy and the university. Secondly, the transfer procedures within and between the university and the economy are structured and optimised so that a synergetic effect can be achieved through cooperation.

Specific objectives

Conception of a description of skill interface between the university and the economy for the improvement of communication between scientific stakeholders and the economy as well as the enhancement of the quality and the relevance of education

Workshops and visits to the universities and local educational institutions for the exchange of information and experience about the organisation, structure and implementation of the cooperation between the university and the economy
