Apprentices in the food technology assistant program at the CSB in Bielefeld will continue to have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in other European countries.  Within the framework of the already tested partnerships with institutes in Estonia, Italy, Spain, and Hungary, laboratories in these countries will continue to host apprentices from Bielefeld for the next two years.

The stays abroad last three weeks.  During the first week, participants are introduced to the language and learn interesting facts about the country and its people.  This is followed by a 14-day practical phase, which takes place in companies.

• Eurocultura, an organization promoting international mobility, Vicenza, Italy
• Audio Lis Formación Continua, S.L., an organization promoting further education, Antequera - Spanien
• WEXEdU, an organization promoting European internships, Szentendre - Ungarn
• dts – Deutsche Technologieschule, a German technical school, Pärnu - Estland 

Our project partners are responsible for:

• Support with organizing accommodations and internships
• Program for intercultural and language introduction
• Supporting the interns abroad in everyday life and contact with the companies
• Administrative processing and certification

Planned dates:

1. March 7 ^th -27 ^th, 2010 (16 participants)
2. April 11^th – May 1^st, 2010 (16 participants)
3. October 24^th – November 13^th, 2010 (16 participants)
4. May 1^st –21^st, 2011 (16 participants)
