Berliner Köche beim Üben in der Ausbildungsküche der "SEF" Hotelfachschule in Veszprem

The opportunity to learn more about vine in Hungary or the preparation of seafood in the Netherlands was taken by 22 apprentices from the Akademie Schmöckwitz.

For three weeks the vocational training took place in unusual environment: 11 cooks together with their instructor learned and worked from 15th September 2008 to 03rd October 2008 at the Hungarian School for Turism SEF in Veszprem / Hungary.

The programm was well prepared, varied and interesting: language lessons together with hungarian apprentices, lessons about hungarian vine, practical work at the local cultural centre "HEMA" or excursions to the region.

Apprentices of hotel management and restaurant went three weeks later, from 20th October 2008 to 07th November 2008 to the Netherlands, to Middelburg, to make THEIR experiences abroad at the School of Tourism of the ROC Zeeland. They learned Netherlands in small groups together with apprentices from the ROC, learned at an oyster farm about the breeding of sea food, visited a cheese production and realized their practical work at the hotel "Aan de Daam".
