Qualification of Chinese Specialists in Germany
In a cooperative project, the Peking University Founder Technology College and the “Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk” (Education and Craft Foundation) aim to qualify Chinese specialists. As a provider of vocational education, the Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk has had innovative products on the Chinese market for qualifying specialists and managers since 2000. The cooperation with the Founder Technology College of the Peking University was established by the Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk China Ltd.
The Peking University is one of the most renowned universities in China. With the Founder Technology College, it offers young people the opportunity, parallel to acquiring a certificate of eligibility for higher education, to gain a practice-oriented qualification in a technical/industrial vocational field.

The administration of the Peking University Founder Technology College values the experience and advantages of a vocation qualification “made in Germany”, and offers numerous young people the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience through a stay abroad. A three-month qualification program in Peking led by a German expert from the Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk is followed by a six-month stay in Germany. The focus of the qualification is learning about modern automobile technology. |
In March 2009, a German instructor began the theoretical and practical instruction at the Founder Technology College. Since August 2009, 19 students have been studying in the workshops of the Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk in Paderborn. They only have 6 months to acquire the basics and new developments in automobile technology. Of course, they are also interested in getting to know the country and its people. Some students have already studied German intensively in Peking. Whether the students aim for a technical/industrial occupation as an automotive mechatronics technician or plan to continue studying at a university, they will, in any case, have an advantage at the beginning of their careers through the practical orientation of this program.
